My name is Kyle Rohrer. I'm 29 years old and have been drawn to the art world since I was young. I began my photography career in 2014 while living in the Virginia countryside. After moving back to the Florida coast, I pursued a degree in photography.
I earned my Associate of Science in 2020 from Daytona State College, and went on to complete my Bachelor's in Photography at the University of Central Florida in 2024. Since then, my photographic work has been exhibited across the United States in galleries such as the Daytona News-Journal Center, the Museum of Arts and Sciences in Daytona, the Southeast Museum of Photography, and many others..
Today, my work focuses primarily on portrait and infrared photography.
Infrared photography captures light beyond the range of human vision, revealing colors and details that don’t exist in normal photos. Using a specially converted digital camera that sees into the infrared spectrum, I’m able to photograph the world in unexpected ways. Where plants turn rich shades of pink or purple, water glows teal, and bright blue skies remain strikingly vivid.
I currently live and work in the Central Florida area, where I continue to explore and capture the beauty I see in the world around me through my lens.
